Got me there! When I was a boy...
... computers really worked without crashing every so often,
... I met my friends in the street, at the local swimming pool or the football field,
... kids in school loved and hated their teachers and classmates instead of shooting them or selling them drugs,
... we had a total number of three tv stations and they would stop broadcasting between midnight and around 10am.
... the sun was, of course, warmer, the rain was wetter, there was more snow and it was whiter, summers were longer,
... musicians at that time could at least play the synthesizer instead of just pressing the wrong button on their computers
... the music played on the radio was just as bad, but, dammit, it was the soundtrack to
my youth and it is therefore intrinsically glorious.
