I totally agree there Sqounkman. My view is he has been the most productive. I am interested (after reading in interviews) by this new found gift Hackett has developed, by dreaming about a song or tune and waking up at an early hour to write it down. Now that is dedication! ha ha. I really think his newer work such as Wild Orchids are works of genius. That may be a biased view, but as much as I adore his earlier stuff, he has taken progressive music to a higher level. Notice I didn't say 'prog rock' because as much as I love it he has maintained it through a variety of risk taking musical adventures and styles. I can see where he comes from when he talks about Segovia and Bach. Lets hope this rumour of a new album is true!!
