You got to partake in a unique experience and on top of it, you will get to relive it with the Rome DVD, so you are very fortunate. I can see how the whole thing would be your memorable moment when you have not seen them before, so I know where you are coming from.
I too also loved the "heys" during IKWIL, because it reminded me of the earlier times I saw them, and it brought out the classic side of Genesis that people who just liked IT and WCD probably didn't realize even existed, so that brought a smile to my face. There is no doubt that song is done better and gets the audience into it more with Phil singing it than Peter-----the whole tamborine bit and the extended instrumentation, the nod to Stagnation......more magic in the air.
