You bastard---you Chicagoans were so lucky to have them play multiple dates on virtually every tour. I am surprised given your multiple show history you didn't see all 3 nights on this tour (I drove up from St Louis and saw all 3).
I have also been a fan since 76 but stupidly missed the tours until the Duke tour in 1980(3000 seat Kiel Opera House---fantastic). Genesis didn't play in St Louis in 78, and I just missed the 76 tour when I first got into them and I don't know how or why I missed the W&W tour in 77---that's my biggest regret.
I don't know why the heck I didn't travel more in the 80s to see them. Genesis didn't even play in St Louis on the IT tour so I had to go to Kansas City to see that, and they didn't play in St Louis in 92 either and I am kicking myself for not driving up to Tinley Park, which I can make in 4 hours.
Saw them in 80, 81, 82, twice in 84 (drove to Peoria for one) and 87, and 4 shows this tour---an even 10.
I imagine someone who has seen them play 20 times has all the boots--so I assume you have the radio broadcasts from 77 Aud Theater and the 78 Uptown shows? those are nice shows.
By the way, if you hear WXRT (still around?) or any other radio station up there planning on doing any live Genesis concert replays, please alert me so I can make arrangements to tape them! I have the Rainbow broadcasts they did on Gabriel's birthday (at the age of 50 and 55) which they periodically do, but if they ever replay that 77 or 78 concert I would love to make a pristine tape of those.
I have seen Porcupine Tree twice at the Park West---I can't believe Genesis actually played a place that small in 1980. Damn, another case of 20 year old ignorance there, or I would have been there too.
