I grew up watching Python on the local public television channel on Sundays at 10:30 in the 70s---technically wasn't supposed to but I somehow managed. I had a group of friends that were all into it, and we knew those skits backwards and forwards, and could repeat lines verbatim for hours.
We were all lumberjacks. And our favorite meal was spam, spam, spam, spam, eggs, bacon, spam, spam and spam. |

Squonkman, it was kind of the same time frame for me growing up. 11:00 on Sunday nights after Benny Hill on PBS. My dad used to come in and yell at me to go to bed, then when he saw the naked girls throughout the skits, he used to sit down with me and watch. I don't think he ever understood, then again, did I? "Oh, you don't need this arm!"
. Holy Grail was great. I think the Python group and Frank Zappa had alot in common.
