Website Facelift and Upgrade - Genesis News Com Forum

Hi all
You may have noticed that the main site is not being updated frequently (compared to 2007). The reason for this is the fact that we are currently working on a major relaunch.
Earlier this year, the german genesis fanclub website was facelifted, upgraded and relaunched with tons of new features. The same now basically happens with the english site.

if you want to see a sneak preview (well, actually not really sneak anymore), check out the german site at Deutscher Genesis Fanclub it

genesis-news.com will look alike

We can't say at this point when the work will be done. We do the best we can, that's all I can promise.
After the relaunch, you will be able to use your forum account for the main site features also. A new newsletter system will be introduced and some gimmicks.
The message board itself will not be altered. Nevertheless a bigger update is necessary also. We will inform you once this update will be done.

Just to give you an indication of the dimension of what's to come: After the relaunch the contents of the site will at least double.

Somebody asked me about this:

The relaunch is almost certain to take place before my counter reaches 100% - unless I start translating 24/7 and stop wasting time with such trivial things as sleeping, eating and having s...ome time to open my Christmas presents.

This is so for two reasons: One - there is a big pile of articles I still have to translate, and two - new articles are being added almost regularly.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up. I have begun moving contents to the new website design, hence the new counter in my signature.

No date for the go-live of the new site yet, but, you know, we are working on it.
