when I was young I also felt like an alien. I was the only one being into Genesis music in my environment. That hasn't changed much to be honest

From our German Forum we have the experience that a lot of younger people still discover Genesis and also / especially the earlier periods, which is good and that's actually what keeps the whole thing alive!

weird well, not exactly. These are wird times with superstar shows on TV, trash talk shows and ring tones for your cell phone being more important than friendships (at least to me it seems to be like that). So I don't think it's weird to be a Genesis fan at a young age. For me it simply shows that you care a lot more about music than others do

Hi Thanx for the speedy confirmation email,

Christian your the same age as my Partner Emma.
Me...well I'm oldish at 44, I was born in 1962.

I have been a fan of genesis since about 1977 I didn't get to see them until Knebworth 1978 and many times since that.
I will go see them again..with or without PG, I was lucky enough to see the reunion concert at Milton Keynes bowl in 1982.
I am also the proud owner of signed 7 inch record (invisible touch.)

If it's all true I can't wait to see my favourite band live, It's rumoured that have new material too.

Anyway I'm getting old...But your as old as the girly you feel..I recently found out I'm to be a Dad again..so I'm now going bald as well as grey???

Heyho...It's only Knock "n" Know'all but I like it!

) for a thousand years. It truly impresses me how many young people appreciate the wonderful talents of "our boys".

Hello to everybody! This is my first posting. I was born in december 1960 and first became entranced by the beautiful music in 1974 when I was 13. I tend to prefer most of the earlier stuff. Nice to see I am not the only girl, I don't know any girl fans personally!

Hello!! I was born in 1962 and have been a fan since the age of 16 when some friends made me listen to a couple of their albums, and I have never looked back!
Great to see both youngsters and old uns on here!
