The long awaited Box-Set was released in Europe end of March (Germany) / 2nd April (Rest of Europe) on SACD-Hybrid/DVD Doublediscs. You can watch an animation of the set here.
The Sound of the new mixes is incredible. We will have reviews on each album online shortly.

Meanwhile, Rhino has put back the release for the CD/DVD Box-Set in North America (same content, but no SACD Layer) until 1st May, the seperate albums will even be released three or four weeks after the box set.

02 Genesis: European Tour - Fan-Shirt

The German Genesis Fanclub has organised a Fan-Sirt to celebrate the band's return on stage in Europe later this year. We did a similar thing for the Phil Collins Farewell Shows in Düsseldorf in 2005 and the feedback was great so we decided to do the same for Genesis in Europe 2007. The Shirt is called "A Selection of Shows". The design is in three colors, with front and back printing. The shirts and print will be high quality so that you can enjoy the shirt for a long time. We offer two colours of shirts.

You can order until 8th May 2007. Shirts will be shipped in time before the tour starts.



03 Exclusive Daryl Stuermer Interview now online

Last week, Genesis-News.Com talked to Daryl Stuermer in detail about his upcoming album Go and his long time with Genesis. We also discussed a lot of things regarding the upcoming Genesis tour.
Besides other stuff, Daryl revealed that Mike will play his Double-Neck guitar again (but a new one).

04 Genesis Tour Update

In a recent interview, the band indicated that the shows maybe released as some kind of Archive Series. Also, there are plans to release the Rome show on DVD. The final decision has not bee made yet.

North America
Genesis have announced an extra Show at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa (Ontario) in Canada for 15th September 2007. Tickets are not on sale yet, pre-sale has not been announced so far. Go here for the Ottawa details page.
Rumours are circulating about a third Chicago Show, at this point we cannot confirm that. Also, a second Washington show is unlikely!
The show in Cleveland and the first shows in Chicago and Philadelphia are sold out, Hartfort and Montreal are nearly sold out as well.

05 Peter Gabriel - Summer Tour 2007

Peter Gabriel will play a couple of live-dates this summer - in Europe. In his last moonclub, Peter said that there will be one or two new songs in the live set. Rachel Z will not be joining them due to other commitments. Besides Tony Levin and David Rhodes, no other musicians have been confirmed yet, but Richard Evans and Ged Lynch are likely to be in the band.
The live-shows will be mainly festivals. These are the so far announced Shows:
