Hey Big Chester, I would hate to be the one to tell you this, but someone on this forum has posted you post about "what happened" to Martin and TMB ALL OVER the TMB Yahoo Group. Really pissed me off.

Well, that's internet. I'm not worried, Martin said that he couldn't say it better... That's the way it happened. He knows it, and they know it.

I got the original TMB DVD that was intended to be released three(?) years ago. I really like it and I have to say: The guys must be very critical to their own work since they didn't want to release it. I mean, I can't find a good reason to *not* do it. But on the other hand - I'm of course not into all tiny details (artisticly and musically wise) as the band are so they have obviously seen and heard things that I haven't.

By the way, I find it a bit strange that the DVD doesn't contain a single interview with the band members. Seeing Hackett visiting the band on a rehearsel (right before his Royal Albert Hall appereance in 2002 I think) and play FoF with them at the end of the sequence more than make up for that, though.

I am surprised of the choice of the group to have just "trick of the tail" tour in 2008. They did so much efforts, creativity and dedication to re-create the magic of the Peter's era shows, and now? The magic is loosed for the second time? I understand the need to propose a new show... even if we are loosing the great voice and personality of Denis Gagne' (in French "gagne'" means "won" and in fact we are now loosing!), but closing the door to the previuos show seems to me a big mistake. I am really disappointed

Well, same thing as with the original: The singer seemed to want to explore new things. Unlike Gabriel, he is now growing a mink beard (TM) and doing ATOTT. So there.

With Gagné as Phil AND apparently growing a beard to look the part it seems not really likely TMB are going to alternate between TOTT and Gabriel-era shows.
