On the last count, six beer and one caipi ... not to mention the buzz that getting to know* a beautiful lady gives you.

Well, how do you imagine the market could get over-saturated? With the market consisting mainly of hard-core Genesis fans (and a couple of partners who feel obliged to tag along) the only limit is their disposable cash, isn't it? Or were you thinking of something else?

I just find the price that these guys charge is in line with what original acts are charging......$60 cdn is a lot for a cover band. And now they are all doing the same setlist. I can't afford that. Note to TMB and DOAV....maybe a Gabriel era cover band would be still viable.

+ soon to be in a biblical sense

Yeah that is alot, thats why I didnt go to see The Musical Box in Toronto.. they were charging $60 bucks!!!! Plus I have seen the show like 3 or 4 times. If it waas the Lamb I would of been there for sure! I only saw the Lamb once, would kill to see it again! I know that the Trick Tour for TMB will be awesome, but I'm still gonna support DOAV, I'm a big Martin fan!!! ha!

Yep, the "purse factor" is important. I can't go out every year and spend €1000+ on Genesis, PG, Ray Wilson and TMB tickets and transport and accomodation. I wish I could. I also wish I had to.

Prices for TMB here are €50 for the best category. They charged the same amount for the Lamb show for which they obviously also had to pay staging royalties (dunno if that's the correct term, like, the money they had to pay for being allowed to stage the show (in addition to what they have to pay anyway because they're playing the music)), and it was a big show. How does the Trick tour compare in terms of financial and staging efforts? I don't know.
And I must admit it is the first TMB show I am not quite sure I want to see (maybe because they don't play Munich and I would have to go to Frankfurt, too). I'll probably go anyway, though.

Good luck. Nothing is impossible. Even an ocean can't keep love from blossoming.

Exclamation TMB are in too deep...

Hi everybody,

O.k., get ready for some amazing infos:

1st: Ron Belgard got fired... no surprise.

2nd: Martin Levac got an offer yesterday for the job.

3rd: Offer refused by Martin

4th but not least: Denis Gagné will be impersonating Phil Collins.

THIS IS NO JOKE!!!

This is pathetic. Denis as Phil? Gimme a break. Denis is Peter. I can't imagine Denis with a beard doing the tambourine routine. I have a tremendous respect for Denis, but I think he's pushing it too far. Will he be able to play the drums? This can't happen! Not so close from the beginning of their tour (if it's not cancelled...)!!

How about Ron? I'm sorry but this guy has no talent. It doesn't take Quincy Jones to know that. What were they thinking? This guy worked for 2 months doing the best he could (when he could have worked for 1... week that is) TMB wasted this guy's time.

TMB needs to change. Why not do a "normal " tour, a kind of "best of" with no make-up, no stage reproduction? Maybe with a few tales from their past tours?

I think TMB are desperate, they don't want to lose their face, but they will lose their audience.

As always:
