I wonder if my wife reads this drivel?

I have three different women lined up to use the extra tickets I am holding for this show.

Before anybody starts to think I am a mysogynistic Lothario, let me clarify;

TinaS may venture up from her spot for a different perspective.

A person who works for a computer company I used to associate with at work.
Met her once & found that she was a Genesis fan, so I made an offer.

A hiking buddy who is married and like a sister to me.

Or, my kids might decide to go after all, if my wife will let them use a phone for a change.

Wow, all that lifting is paying dividends. You must be huge. Good luck.

Well Jim, it sure sounds like you got your hands quite full with your lady friends. I think I am going to stay at my original seat. Then again, you may change my mind before the show. It's a toss up? But I am glad that you have lots of company.

As it is looking right now, the "Meet Up" before the concert will only be Jim "RobAssBatt" and myself Tina "TinaS" from this forum. We still may find people who are familiar with this site amongst our travels. As for now, the concert is two days away and I am very excited. Although not very excited driving in DC. It is a very confusing place, and it has been years since I have been there. Heck, I get lost driving in my own city let alone Washington, DC. But, I am leaving very early just to get a good parking slot and to meet up with Jim for beverages before the concert. Hopefully all will go well getting my ticket since they would not send it to me because I lived in another state. I went threw the Box Office Venue instead of Ticketmaster. So for now, Butterflies in the tummy!

Tina, give us a full report on all these lady friends---we want to hear the female perspective on all this. Are you one of the three, or is it 3 in addition to you going or meeting up with ol' Jim---quite frankly, we have all lost count here.

In the meantime, have fun at the concert. I will be going the night before you, so I will put a good word in to Phil for you.

Oh, don't get your hopes up too high, I'm just clutching at straws.

My new Romanian friend has to stay home & study for her Engineering transfer certification, and I'm on pins and needles about our hiking trip. Her husband is a former Green Beret and I've been threatened with the view from inside of a body bag if I cross the line.

As far as Jo-Anne is concerned, I may have scared her off with that phone call about the motorcycle ride, or her Dad is sick & she has her hands full. Two voicemails[Wednesday & today] unanswered. I guess I won't know for sure until 8PM Sunday.

TinaS is the third and actually first in my book.

Besides, the kids are acting like their mother, and I may just sell their tickets for rent money.

As Jim noted below, I think I was one of the three. Anyhow, YOU have a good time at the concert. And tell Phil that I will be the pegleg in the upper tier yelling "Supper's Ready" knowing that they will not be playing it! Maybe I can get free tickets to the front row like that one guy did when his wife went out for drinks? Of coarse I will fill you in on all of the details. Jim can't get away that easy!

If my kids are coming, I'll be busy driving them in or finding them at the subway station.

If Jo-Anne resurfaces, I'll be driving in from BWI airport at the last moment too.

It's all so fluid at present.

That's ok. Things sometimes work out like that. What about at the gate?
