Back to the topic, Oh well, I am not chaning my ways on this forum, because it works EVERYWHERE else I frequent. I mean that is the way it's gonna be, if I am not liked, they can kick me off, that is up to them, but I have kept it real and peaceful for myself EVERYWHERE else. Like I said before it is all on how you say something, and if you use smilies or not. Everyone else seems to get it, so we should ALL be on the same page. I never go onto a board and post such strong opinions first time around because people do not know me. It's called NEtiquette. I mean that is the way it is, and we can argue this till we are all red in the face, if you want to continue this it is fine, but I am going to TRY to move on now, Join me?

Please allow me to start afresh. Let me apologise for the loggerheads in the previous weeks. I would like to be accepted on your forum to discuss all things Genesis. My name is Paul. I am a drummer by trade and I would like to try and keep the good ship Genesis afloat with you all.

Dan, just had a look at the -music.com site and am flabbergasted to find it now charges for admission!!! That explains a few things. I thought THIS was the official forum...! D'oh!!

Why on earth did they do that? No wonder the Genesis internet community has suffered.

Anyhow, I hope you accept this peace offering. (Doesn't mean i might agree with everything though!)

I like your post Dan and agree with it. I've been posting on forums for about three years now, and I've only been banned from one forum of about eight (only because Bon Jovi's 40 year old overweight house moms couldn't stand the fact that I thought Jon Bon Jovi's vocals were going, and the band was losing their touch, which they are). But in more democratic boards that seem to allow a difference of opinion, I've got some 5,000 posts at a few of those, because it's just fun to post there, and people DO like me around there.

Just like yourself, I'm not changing my posting habits. I think my loyalty to this board and love for this band may be a good argument for that (despite my absence between February and May). If it's not liked, I can be kicked off too, though I must say that I've never been personally approached and told there's an issue with my posting so I feel at this time I'm in good shape. OK, I WAS approached earlier in this thread.

I was willing to welcome him because I never had a personal bout with him before. He seemed well spoken and could be a nice contributor to the board. I made an innocent remark in regards to the situation, not him, and he wrote a novel trying to bash the regulars and myself, which I found to be totally unnecessary.

Me? I'm also through with this, though really I was never in it to begin with, just kinda contributed opinion here and there.
