Believe it or not, I have already also got the 70s music explosion. I just could not afford to be caught dead without Afternoon Delight by the Starland Vocal Band if needed on a moment's notice, and had no desire to invest in a whole CD of their music.

I also just recieved my shipment of the second set of Midnight Special DVDs, so now I have 2 for every year from 73 to 1980. This is frickin great stuff, and brings back so many memories, as I grew up as a teenager watching that show. I just watched Todd Rundgren singing Hello Its Me and he's wearing eye makeup that makes it look like he's got butterflies around his eyes. Weird, wild and wacky stuff.

Squonkman, you are to much like me. Its scary.... I have the Midnight Special DVD's myself and I also have Life/Times Rock N Roll Legends as well on DVD. I have the complete sets of the 60's and the 70's. I am not an 80's person. I love watching and listening to these since I, like you, were a teenager wayyyyyyyyyy back then. And, I still have that smiley face that is on the display to the right of Greg Brady. Still in good shape too!

Yeah I've been seeing them for 2 years. Since I got to go to the Genesis concert we missed them over in Dayton OH.

It would've been nice to see them again. I met their drummer and guitarist.

They were very nice and met people after the show and I got their autpgraph but I lost it somewhere

One of my favorite SNL skits was not actually a skit. It was John Belushi and Joe Cocker. They were sing "Little Help From My Friends". John was hilarious. And who could forget Chris Farley as Matt Foley who lives in a van down by the river.

OMG, Tina, I remember John Belushi & Joe Cocker! That was a great bit by John, and an excellent performance by Joe!

I love Chris Farley, too -- do you remember when he did the interview with Paul McCartney (not as Matt Foley, but as a guy with a cable show, who really wasn't very good at interviews!) ... and he asks Paul if he remembers when Paul was in the Beatles ... Paul says, "Yes, I remember" ... and Chris, all awkward, pauses and says, "That was really cool!".
