While I hope that Peter does not need to beg for money I would doubt that he is a billionaire. I do not care very much either way.

He is lucky to do what he likes to do best for a living, and he is apparently well-off enough to be able to support certain philantropic projects (I believe he 'only' co-founded The Elders and Witness).
That is all fine with me. He does not need to be in the Forbes list. As for the "Richard Branson without a Virgin balloon" quote - well, how could there be a virgin balloon with so many steaming Sledgehammers around?

(Dirty off-topic joke:
Teacher: "Can you tell me where the Virgin Islands are located?" - Student: "I do not know, but probably some way from the Isle of Man.")

Totally agree with what you have just said regarding gabe and his ''Billionaire'' lifestyle (??)
Lucky for him that he can afford to live the lifestyle he so chooses and be a part of the projects he's so passionate about......Do i lose sleep over whether he is a ''Billionaire'' or not?.....nah, my life ain't that dull.
Each to their own i say & I don't think PG could give a rats arse if he's on the Forbes list or not.

BTW....I'll have you know that i have family who reside in the Isle Of Man

Not sure how a billionaires website would be down for a couple of months because of theft of server...would a billionaire not have invested in IT people who would follow a simple data backup regimen?

Certainly. But in these days when data is the all-important riches that get stolen the theft of the actual hardware is a bit odd, isn't it?

"Down for a couple of months"? I was able to order things from the shop at PG's site just a couple of days after the server was stolen, so they did have backup (but of course it takes some time to play it all back, and they'll have gone for the hot stuff (breaking news, delay announcements for his next putative releases) first).
