P.O.V. DVD this year?

The Still Growing Up Live DVD featured a teaser for a possible POV DVD.

Are there any news available on that? Maybe already a release date?

"We will release in September ..."

*groan*

Actually, I would love to have POV on DVD. It is a lovely film, very well-made. And the old videotape I recorded it on early in the 90s is almost worn out, so c'mon release it, Peter!

Waiting for that for a long time. I've got a question - how did the show differ from the one on video? Which additional songs it had?

Sorry, you lost me there. How did which show differ from the one on which video?

Do you mean which songs did Peter play on the show that was used for POV?

Yes that's what I mean.. Was it a typical setlist from that tour or was it something else?

It appears that the tracks that appear on POV were part of a typical setlist of the SO tour. It is of course not a full concert, after all there are many bits of songs. And as far as I could make out with the help of the excellent Live Database at The Movement the material used for POV is not even from only one show.

It is supposedly the gig from Oct 15, 1987. This date is marked "uncertain" in the database. It is more likely that the POV concert footage was assembled from the five shows that took place at the same venue (Lykabettus Hill Theatre, Athens) on Oct 05 - 09, 1987.

A typical setlist from a SO tour show would look like this (this is the Strasbourg gig setlist, lifted shamelessly from The Movement):
1.1San Jacinto
10:23
1.2Red Rain
06:14
1.3Shock The Monkey
07:10
1.4Family Snapshot
04:55
1.5Intruder
05:49
1.6Games Without Frontiers
05:24
1.7No Self Control
05:58
1.8Mercy Street
09:21
1.9This Is The Picture
06:41
2.1Big Time
07:20
2.2Don't Give Up
08:36
2.3Solsbury Hill
04:52
2.4Lay Your Hands On Me
07:31
2.5Sledgehammer
07:25
2.6Here Comes The Flood
02:57
2.7In Your Eyes
12:25
2.8Biko
11:55

That's what I noticed. And I remember seeing it on Still growing Up DVD.
