World Of Genesis UK Tour

I saw Ray twice on his World Of Genesis UK Tour. I must admit I wasn't too kneen to go but I definitely do not regret it.

Ray's voice has still something magical (which I also thought back in 1998) and his set was quite pleasurable, especially stuff like Calling All Stations or Entangled (I couldn't believe he played that)

What was more important was that his own material was very convincing. I hope he will do some gigs with Stiltskin here. I like the new album and want to hear more of that stuff live!

I caught him in London ~ fantastic set!
You can tell he loves A Trick Of The Tail ~ Entangled was fantastic and Ripples... has been "built up" by the band over the past few tours; starting as an acoustic with the lyrical part only, then having the instrumental added as keys only, and finally that stunning version from those 2006 shows ~ love it!

The new Stiltskin songs aired that night were also great. I picked up the album at the gig and have already listened to it about 10 times as much as the original Stiltskin album. Highly recomended.

Hope to catch him in Wolverhampton this time around (and then Marillion the following night).
