Very much looking forward to seeing him in Rochester, NY in July. Will be my first Hackett concert ever. Been listening to his solo albums since I first purchased Defector (an excellent album) on cassette in 1980. Can't explain why I have never made the effort to see him live?
Also really looking forward to this stopover during our road trip to see TinaS in North Carolina. A big reunion for her and Visions and the first meeting of The Mooselover and the Carolina Redneck from Pennsylvania. ![]() Anyhow back to Steve....hoping he will play the entire new album. Renaissance should be very interesting to see as well. Just starting to give them a listen.

Hello.... just a little background. Been a Genesis fan since 1978 when I heard Trick Of The Tail. I recently went back and re-discovered Steves work. I've seen the Collins, Banks and Rutherford Genesis in concert many times and saw Gabriel in the early 80's. I finally got to see Steve in concert a month and a half ago and he was awesome. The songs he played in order were....... Mechanical Bride, Fire On The Moon, Every Day, Emerald And Ash, Ace Of Wands, Serpentine Song, The Steppes, Horizons, Blood On The Rooftops, Sleepers, Still Waters, A Medley that ended with Los Endos, and for an encore, Firth Of Fifth, and Clocks. The show was awesome. I was about 15 feet away from Steve right in front of him and it was a pleasure to watch him perform on the guitar. He is one of the best players in the world. I'll try to pop in once a week to leave my two cents. Cheers. Hierophant.
