Your three favorite STEVE HACKETT albums

this poll seems to be missing...

like in the other polls, the question would be what album you like most, not which one is the best (I like this approach, in case of Phil's albums I would never say that DITL is better than FV, I simply like it more)

I would go for Guitar Noir, I listen to that one quite often ever since it came out!

[I didn't include his classic music albums. Maybe these would be an option for a separate poll]

I don't own all mentioned albums, but I voted for "Darktown", which was the first hackett album I bought after I began to listen to Genesis.
Darktown has a strange mood and some great tracks, I love the last track, In Memoriam.

hi

his second album would be my choice. Always liked the voice of Richie Havens on some of the tracks

The first album in bought was Spectral Mornings and it took some time for me to like it. But my Hackett favorite is Guitar Noir and my favorite track There Are Many Sides...

Darktown and Please Don't Touch as well as To Watch The Storms are also great albums

I also like DARKTOWN best. It has a strange mood, not recommended if you are down, but the album is every emotional. it is also music that can only be written by a experienced musician

I voted for Genesis Revisited as it is not only a fan-album, but also a very good progressive rock record. The guest list is incredible, Carracks vocals on the long lost Deja Vu are great and people like Tony Levin or Chester Thompson make this record special.

to be honest it's not a real soloalbum. My second choice would have been Please Don't Touch.

hi everyone

that'll be Spectral Mornings for me. I could have chosen the first one or even To Watch The Storms, Steve does really good work.

that's difficult. I have chosen Please Don't Touch, it has some remarcable tracks such as How Can I? and a great guest vocalist with Richie Havens!

Spectral mornings. The new remastered edition sounds very good and the songs are great. So - my favourite album so far.
