New Rock Album WILD ORCHIDS coming soon - Genesis News Com Forum

A September release has been scheduled for a new Steve Hackett Rockalbum (depite a few acoustic trio gigs this fall).

We don't have any further news on that so far (songs, musicians, etc) but will post them when we get them

we now have more information.

WILD ORCHIDS will be released on 11th September and there will be a standart version and a Special Edition with 17 tracks

excellent!

I like Steve's rock albums more than his classic stuff, which is simply not the music I'd like to listen to

also, i think he has recorded some great stuff since Guitar Noir! So i am really looking forward to hearing the wild orchids...

I still do not own every Hackett album, but I will definitely buy Wild Orchids.

His last album was great and I also like the classic work he does!

Is there any information about who plays on the record? I hope he still has his excellent live-band, that can be seen on his last two DVDs!

I'm curious how this album will sound. Gabriel merged So and Passion into Us, so if this one is metamorphesus merging with Storms, fine!

it's time for me anyway to get some more CD of Steve's

The podcast is very intersting! I can't wait to hear the album soon. it's one of those things you can count on - Steve would never release a bad album!
