On preparing the RayVent we had a great many
ideas for a comprehensive design for the event. The first things to
be completed were the tickets and a poster which was used to advertise
the event online. These had to be available well before the actual RayVent.
You can see the poster on the RayVent main
page. It was never printed but used for online promotion. |

| The RayVent Programme As for every fanclub event there was a brief programme available made up of four pages in A5 [14.8cm x 21cm; approx. half the size of a legal sheet]. The design of the programme was based on a map of Ray’s birthplace of Dumfries, Scotland. The credits still mention Ray, Irvin and Amanda Lyon. When the printing was commissioned we did not know that Steve Wilson would take Amanda Lyon’s role in the Acoustic Trio. Interestingly enough, the photo we used was later also used as a basis for Ray Wilson’s Live 2CD and for the Live t-shirt which was designed by club and RayVent crew member Martin Timmerbeil. You can enlarge every page of the programme by clicking onto the following images. |

| The RayVent Passes We make up a couple of access cards that borrow from a couple of Genesis shows. These cards are assembled from a combination of different Genesis motives. On normal club days, they are just a gimmick. The RayVent, however, was a major event not least due to Ray’s concert. We decided to have access cards again and tried to pick a layout that related to the event. Since Ray Wilson is from Scotland, as is whisky, we based the RayVent access cards on a whisky label. By clicking on the individual access cards you will be able to see a larger version of the images including the original whisky label. |

| The RayVent T-Shirt Last but not least we also had a limited edition of RayVent T-shirts produced. The shirts feature the image on the front as well as an „it“ logo on the sleeve. Find photos of it in the gallery. Ray wore this shirt for his performances. On the photo in the right you can see the crew shirt by the mcmuffin company who were so kind as to produce the programme, the access cards, tickets and t-shirts. |
