In 2002, The Musical Box came to Europe to tour in England. The year after Winfried Völklein of WiV Entertainment took heart and brought the band to Germany and other parts of Europe, making a dream come true for the editorial staff and many members of
it and of course also fans throughout the continent.
What followed was a success story without compare. The Musical Box played
Selling England and
Foxtrot shows in 2003 and 2004. In 2005 they went on their much-acclaimed
Lamb Lies Down tour that continued into 2006. The main focus was always on Germany and it proved the most successful leg of the tour by a fair margin.
Now,
The Musical Box want to say
Thank You with a very special offer on October 31, 2007:
The German Genesis fanclub
it presents:
The
Nursery Cryme-Event featuring The Musical Box live.
October 31, 2007 – Theater am Marientor – Duisburg, Germany – beginning 8pm (entry time t.b.d.)
Never before have The Musical Box played a
Nursery Cryme show outside North America. This is going to be the only opportunity to see the songs from that tour performed live by The Musical Box in Europe. The event is not going to be a reproduction of just a
Nursery Cryme show setlist (they varied considerably from night to night), but a kind of Best Of The
Nursery Cryme Tour. For the very first time and exclusively for the members and readers of the German Genesis Fanclub
it and Genesis News Com, The Musical Box are going to play a
Nursery Cryme wishlist.
The setlist has not been fixed yet, but cornerstones like
Twilight Alehouse, Stagnation and
Seven Stones are certain to be played.
The
Nursery Cryme Event will consist mainly of the concert. There may be a little exhibition and a collector’s market. We are also planning to have an autogram hour. Details will follow.

Tickets come in three categories, with prices of €28, €32 and €36.
The exclusive pre-sale for subscribers to the
it and GNC newsletter begins on August 5 at 11a.m. local time (CET, german time).

As with all
it-Events we have to sell a certain amount of tickets in order not to make a loss. This event is bigger than previous
it-Events so it would be good if we could break even as early as possible.
We are very pleased to be able to offer you a moderate ticket price. We would like to thank Serge Morissette, Sebastien Lamothe and Denis Gagné of The Musical Box who very quite obliging in this matter.
Sale and shipping of tickets will be managed by WiV Entertainment, who are so kind as to help us out with the logistics. You can state in the order form where you would like to sit; if do not mention any preference you will be given the best seats available. Please note that the
Nursery Cryme Event is purely an
it-Event and has nothing to do with the Black Selling tour!
Please direct any questions you may have about the event to us at this e-mail address.
