Ulli, I've enjoyed reading of your travels and concert experiences. I've added a link to your review here at:

for the benefit of my readers as I am having trouble tracking down press coverage of the shows so far.

Thanks man....me and my son (15 years old) are following the posts for the set lists and the news. We have tickets for the washington DC show sometimes in September. How many shows will you see all told ?

I'm a huge Genesis fan from 'Foxtrot' to '...And Then There Were Three', & I've seen them several times since Knebworth 78. I was worried about the set-list being too 80's/90's heavy, & this was compounded when I saw the 'Tour Edition' of the greatest hits album. The upshot was that I've sold my tickets for Twickenham, & I have to say having looked at this set-list, I'm quite relieved. There's 8 songs ( 4 that appear to be in medley versions ) that I would have really wanted to hear in the current set-list. That's not enough out of 24!!
I would love to have seen Firth of Fifth etc again, but know I would have been as disappointed as I was at Knebworth 92 ( though that virtually ignored the 70's stuff ). Pains me to be negative, but the Genesis of the 70's & the Genesis from 'Mama' ( good song though that is ) onwards are very different.

I am curious about the quality of the sound. Is it the traditional sound{the quality boom} or just the generic FOH that all bands use now?
I have to agree with you Adie, the 80's 90's sound is more relatable to house wives and little girls. I believe if Steve Hackett had let his band suck it up for a year and joined the tour the set list would have been more representative of the 70's. I would see the show if they played Vancouver...of course. But Phil has skeketons here so i dunno....the whiner.
