Tony: Yes, In Too Deep, that’s the one we might do in America, because it’s much more popular in America than it was here while Ripples was less popular in America.
That one sentence just saved me hundreds of dollars in ticket and travel costs. Damn.

Yep, Tony also contradicted himself when he said:
“It’s also demanding for the audience. Some of them you will lose during the instrumental bits as they don’t know them, while the big fans are less interested in the hits. The other thing is, we don’t have anything to prove we’re just doing it. We’re playing to fans who know they like us. We’re not trying to convert them, perhaps in the past we did that.”
If he’s really playing for the “fans,” omitting “Ripples” would not be an option. I’m treating my 22-year-old brother with the tickets. He’s going to wear an 2nd-hand Squonk shirt that he bought off of Ebay. He doesn’t know the setlist, and I was looking forward to his surprise as Phil begins singing one of his favorite songs. Now, I don’t know if it’s worth the 5 hour trip to Columbus.
