Toronto’s show at BMO was the same set list. Other than some vocal issues (I think the mic was low in the mix for a bit), the show was perfect! I won’t spoil it for those that want to be surprised, but the sound and light setups were very high quality, and allowed you to be immersed in the whole concert experience. If you happen across the Toronto Star’s concert review by Ben Rayner, don’t pay attention to him–he obviously was having a bad day, and decided to take it out on Genesis. He even quotes “That’s All” as one of the songs played… and it wasn’t on the setlist! Genesis knows how to put on a good, entertaining show, and Phil hams it up, so everyone is smiling by the end. :)

Even for me, who likes the longer and more artistic side of Genesis, I have to say I actually enjoyed Invisible Touch and I Can’t Dance. Yes, I said it. They could remove Hold On My Heart, but it is a good opportunity to restock on drinks. :)

For those of you that don’t have tickets to a show, and are interested in getting one of the Encore Series Concert CD’s, you won’t be disappointed with the Toronto show.
