I have to admit, I had doubts, especially after watching Genesis perform on Live earth. It is now 25 years since I am a fan and saw my first Genesis Gig in the 1982 Three Sides Live encore series at Jarry Parc.
I was coming to a conclusion that maybe they are too old, or maybe that they have been away for too long.

After September 14, 2007 there is no more doubts. What I saw that night, was one of the best shows I have seen them perform. It was a big party. The audience was really into it. The band also picked up on the audiences energy as we saw then really turn it on again after 1/3 of the way into the show. They sounded great and made me realize that maybe they had an off day on Live Earth or maybe that the clips on You Tube do not really bring justice.

I’m depressed now, all the build up, the wait , counting out time, the show came and now they are gone. I just hope that they will be back again. We really need them back with Peter next time. So that we can finally see a chapter that most Genesis fans have never seen. The chapter that started it all. Definitely the most creative period of all. The post Peter era is just as great if not more enjoyable thanks to the charisma of Phil
our ever loving front man whom we adore.

Cheers Genesis fans! Till next time we reunite.

This concert was simply amazing, I have seen at least four other genesis concerts a long time ago as well as several others, including Peter Gabriel three times. But this concert was thrilling from one end to the other. The songs selected for the tour cover a wide range of Genesis’s history, the sound was great the stage as well, but most of all, the music was Genesis at its best !!! It is now one month after the concert and I still dream of it and hear the music when I close my eyes …

I also pray for their return, but I am not so sure it will happen … unfortunately … but I wish you all fans of Genesis find a way to see this fantastic show …
