Can the band possibly provide any setlist spontanaity at all during this tour??? It has been very disappointing. I recall seeing the 3 Sides Live tour three consecutive nights (1 in Philly and 2 in NY) and at least they performed a few extra songs at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in NY ( No Reply at All and Paper Late) with the Phoenix Horns section. Here is hoping they can rehearse “Back in NYC” prior to the gig at Madison Square Garden in NYC next week. First time I ever saw them live at MSG back in 1978, Peter joined the encore of I Know What I Like. Have there been any PG sightings in the NYC area recently?

  2. Russell Says:

I am thrilled at the positive reports I’ve read about the tour. I’m seeing them in Denver on my birthday, 6 Oct. and although I know the setlist, I’ve tried to forget it.
…I must find a new home.

I saw show 2 & 3in Philly and agree that the 3rd night was noticeably more intense and emotional. Great show. My only disappointment is that afterglow doesn’t reach the”power & glory” that it used to. Can some one pleaseturn up the volume?

    Peter
