Let me be the first (but hopefully not the last) to report that the Pepsi Center - Denver show of October 6th was just brilliant and with absolutely no hitches or techinal problems to my knowledge whatsoever! In fact, I was fortunate to first see it in Auburn Hills (Detroit area) the previous Sunday (9/30) and it was just phenomenal. I took two long-time friends and Genesis fans - one to each show and both of whom had never experienced the band live before -and they were extremely impressed as well.
Thus, if anyone has any contact with anyone affiliated with the band, please tell them the reunion tour made my year and will not soon be forgotten. I’ve now seen them live over that past six tours (e.g., Duke in 1980, Three Sides Live in 1982, Mama in 1984, Invisible Touch/Domino in 1986, The Way We Walk in 1992, and Turn It On Again in 2007) and this year’s tour was hands down the most awesome! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this blog as well and tausend dank to whomever was responsible. Hopefully we’ll do it all again next year if Peter Gabriel hits the U.S.!
