Peter Gabriel - Set-List Info / Free CD in Mail on Sunday

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

Rehearsals for the Warm Up Tour have now reached the stage of doing a full set-list. According to Richard Chappell, a complete set has been rehearsed a few times and they have also extended the set-list because they “need a longer set”. More rehearsed tracks were revealed, among them are We Do What We’re Told, This Is The Picture and Waiting For The Big One. Further information states that I Grieve, Blood Of Eden, Lay Your Hands On Me and DIY are more or less in the final set, more info on that to follow!
Also, there will be a 14 track Greatest Hits CD included in next week’s Mail On Sunday (UK newspaper). It has a unique cover artwork, check out the full article about Peter in this week’s issue here.

After the most recent entries in the Tour Diary there are only nine songs left from the rehearsal setlist that remain unknown. These songs are to be rehearsed:

from PG1: Moribund The Burgermeister, Humdrum, Waiting For The Big One
from PG2: On The Air, D.I.Y., Mother Of Violence, Indigo
from PG3: Intruder, No Self Control, I Don’t Remember, Family Snapshot, And Through The Wire, Not One Of Us
from PG4: Rhythm Of The Heat, Lay Your Hands On Me
from SO: Big Time, We Do What We’re Told, This Is The Picture
from US: Blood Of Eden, Steam, Washing Of The Water, Lovetown (Non Album Track)

The Diary also announces new and brand new songs. The choice of songs for the final set list will probably depend on Peter Gabriel, who will join the rehearsals on May 30. It has also become clear that, except for the keyboarder, Peter will be surrounded by the same musicians as on the 2003/04 tour.
