A few month ago, we have reported that Phil Collins will rerelease his eight solo-albums with bonus-tracks and with remastered sound (click here). Today, Warner Music and Phil Collins have launched the official campaign, after several visual hints have been spread in social media platforms recently (such as Phil Collins Facebook site). The campaign is called Take A Look At Me Now and the eight solo albums will be rereleased in pairs over the next months. All cover images have been recreated using a recent photo from Phil, but sticking to the original poses. So, the motives are the same, just the Phil on it is older now. The new images will be the front cover images for the album rereleases. The first two albums to be released will be Face Value and Both Sides, scheduled for 6th November 2015.
All albums will come in digipak 2CD format, digital download versions and audiophile 180g vinyl editions. Face Value will be a single vinal release, while Both Sides comes on double vinyl. CD and vinyl box sets will also be available which compile both Face Value and Both Sides together with space to complete the collection as the rest of the series is released. The double CDs and digital versions contain additional tracks, which are mainly live versions and most of them have not been released on CD yet. Further tracks include selected B-sides and demo versions. Each album in the series will be remastered by Nick Davis, who earned a Grammy nomination for Best Surround Sound album for his work on the Genesis 1970-1975 SACD box set. Davis has also worked on all of the Genesis retrospective reissues. Further plans that will tie-in with the reissue series will be announced imminently.

Phil Collins Debutalbum became a classic of the 80ies and is probably his best album to date.
