A look back at our second fan club meeting in 1994 – from the perspective of the editorial team and the opinion of a visitor.
It is not only Genesis who open their archives. Their founding member Anthony Phillips has cleaned up his attic and gives his fans a deep look into his oeuvre – back even into his days in Genesis.
The latter of only two German gigs by Mike + The Mechanics in 1999 took place at Museumsmeile Bonn. Here are two reports from the show.

When Genesis had completed their metamorphosis with a new album and a tour its members turned towards their solo projects again. Mike Rutherford recorded an album with his Mechanics that is called either M6 or simply Mike & The Mechanics.
Hudson Music released a VHS video and later a DVD of a special big band performance by Phil Collins.

When the Calling All Stations tour ended Ray Wilson turned to his solo project, a band he called Cut_. In the line-up was Nir Zidkyahu, who had already drummed for Genesis. The album Millionairhead came out in spring 1999.
In 1996, Genesis founding member Anthony Phillips gave us the ninth album from his Private Parts & Pieces series. .
