I was thinking the other day - on which tracks did Daryl play lead guitar during the Genesis tours, excluding the (obvious) Hackett-era songs.
two track come to my mind:
The Knife (?)
Jesus He Knows Me (1992)
any further tracks?

Off the top of my head:
The Lady Lies
Behind The Lines
Duchess
No Reply At All
Illegal Alien
It's Gonna Get Better
Duke's Travels portion of 2007 medley
Duke's End portion of 2007 Duke medley
There maybe others I can't think of?
Burning Rope
Did Daryl really play guitar on The knife?
Who else would have played it? Mike sure played bass as he always did on that song.
I'm pretty sure that is Daryl playing lead on the Knife, at least from boots I've heard. It has his tone and style.
Not sure about Daryl playing lead on Burning Rope though. It sounds an awful lot like Mike's tone and he sounds ever so hesitant as it was back in the beginning of his playing lead. Can anyone confirm, I'd be curious as I always thought it was Mike?

It's not the best quality but it looks like it was Mike
... and The Knife
it's obviously Daryl - and Mike plays Double Neck!
Keep It Dark iirc?
Keep It Dark iirc?
Yes, I'm just now watching (for the n-teenth time) the Mama Tour. Darryl is certainly playing the guitar parts on that.
What's interesting (maybe only to me) is that Mike is also playing a guitar, but as he does on the next song, It's Gonna Get Better, he's playing the bass line on it. I started a different thread when I noticed that he did that, but hadn't seen that it's a carryover from Keep It Dark.
Which, to keep it on the topic of the thread, It's Gonna Get Better is another lead that Darryl plays, from the post-Hacket era (which I think someone above may have pointed out already).

Mike plays the Roland GR 500 guitar synthesizer, which consists of an synth module (GR500) and an electric guitar with a special hexaphonic pickup to control the module (GS500, also with conventional pickups for a "normal use"). So the Synth bass comes from the module (and Tony also dubs it).
This guitar is also seen on the "Follow You Follow Me" music video.
During the 1978-1986 period, Mike used a lot of synth guitar : probably a lot of lead stuff on And Then... (Burning Rope)... was done with the GR 500/GS500 or the G202 (the blue Strat-type guitar seen on the Mama Tour), mixing the normal electric guitar sound with a bit of synth.

Mike also used the ARP Avatar module, especially on Duke (album and tour). For example, the riff guitar part of Turn It On Again, the chords part on the instrumental bridge of Ripples (in concert), the rhythm part of Duke's Travels, and a lot on Smallcreep's Day and Acting Very Strange.
Mike finally used the GR 700 on Invisible Touch, particularly on the beginning of Domino ("In the glow of the night" part), with his custom headless Steinberger guitar.

Daryl surely used the same kind of equipment (Roland G808 guitar on the Mama Tour), but he sold it recently at an auction to support a Wisconsin Hospital I believe.

Let me start by saying I don’t play guitar. Having said that, I have to say that I thought measured by looks alone Mike looked kinda silly playing the Steinberger on the IT tour. He’s so tall and lanky that it looked in his hands like a toy prize at the bottom of a cereal box.
Yeah, completely disproportionate to my eyes also...
