The venues informed all ticket holders

I was just going by the anecdotes here of people finding out third hand but maybe it's just a couple of unfortunate cases.
Everybody should check before traveling anyway. Looks like some people were already in London so they couldn't rearrange. They will have double costs for travelling then. Pity. On the other hand: We all knew it was risky, didn't we?

Indeed! Venues in the UK seem to be making it riskier too by not checking vaccine proof. Masks not mandatory in venues either. 
There is a new super cold bug down in the south of England, making it's way up north, it's wiping people out and seems to affect people who have been vaccinated harder for some reason.

Sorry to learn that. A regular cold can be debilitating enough. If it's an especially bad one, that's really rough. Keep warm, have hot drinks, keep your protein intake up and rest up. Hope it eases off soon.

So basically, you have a few symptoms for a few days then after like 2 days, your energy just goes and your head kills and then after 2 more days the fever and cold etc all come in one big hit.
Also i've seen Covid cases rising alot again and so with that and this new bug plus the winter flu season coming, it's going to be a difficult winter for many it seems.

Ugh that sounds really rough. As Backdrifter said I hope it passes fairly quickly. And I agree, those ingredients you mentioned could combine to make a turbulent winter. Everyone's exposure to bugs has been so curtailed for so long now!

Yeah, i think this suber cold bug has been created because suddenly everyone is mixing again and also covid is evolving all the time so side affects and everything else coming together at once.

The new covid strain out of Africa which has reached Europe now is concerning. Unlike Europe, The Government seem happy to be useless as ever and are not closing the borders fully to prevent it spreading here.
