MIKE + THE MECHANICS: European Tour 2019 - Looking Back (Over My Shoulder)

Good luck to Mike!
Any chance he would come back to North America sometime?

Anything is possible
The last I saw, they were working on a new album set for release in 2019, and I think Andrew is working on a solo album right now as well, which would make me think they won't be doing any touring between now and the UK tour (unless they do some festivals).
If they do release an album in 2019 (which sounds ambitious...), we might see a repeat of the pattern of UK tour, then Europe around September, and then who knows? But that's all speculation.

Which show/s?

Which show/s?
So far just Nottingham. If I do end up coming over, I'll likely go for some more around that date, maybe Leicester and Buxton as well

That's really great news that M&M continues as a live band! I would quite like to see them live, but from my location in Sweden I would prefer a concert in Denmark, Germany, Poland or the Netherlands. The same goes for future Phil concerts.
A new album in 2019, well that's ambitious! Let's hope for that, but between The Road and Let Me Fly there were SIX years, despite the band being active. I never understood what the delay was about, but I sincerely hope it won't take six years until the next album.

21st Feb / Guildford was added as an extra show, since the original Guildford date is selling so well.

According to one of the venue websites, there will be no opening act on this tour, and the show will be 2 halves with an intermission (source)
Just in case anyone's interested.
That could mean they are playing a longer set. But is that really realistic? I have my doubts. In any case - the tour starts today!
