"unforseen circumstances"
Well, maybe poor ticket sales.
ticket holders get a free merch item and also the chance to buy seats for another Genesis show
Yep, that announcement has poor ticket sales written all over it. Rather like the language they used when they cancelled the US leg of the CAS tour.
shame...although already doing several shows in nyc, and as in Europe, prices are top dollar!
It may not be due to the impact of high gasoline prices or no gasoline at all like in the UK!
Also that new Barclays Centre must have a much higher cost to book, than say the Prudential Center in Newark New Jersey that I wonder why it was not moved there instead of cancelling all together.
Cancellation insurance cost must be very high now that covid is factored in and considered a high risk, just like it is for travel.

No issue with petrol availability here, never was really. If the news outlets had kept their mouths shut, no-one would ever have known there was an issue and panic buying would not have happened. Once something more interesting came up, it moved off the news and normality returned
Amusing titbit: North West of England BBC news reporter sent out to cover petrol station issues was named Phil McCann!!!
