    I dont hate the world cup in itself. I hate that it's been placed in a country with an appalling human rights record and that 6,500 migrant workers DIED building the stadiums and infrastructure amid inhumane working practices. I think you'll find that's where the real "shame" lies.


    I love football on tv and usually I enjoy a world cup but I can't bring myself to watch this one. I know that won't make any material difference outside my living room but it makes a difference to me.

    I'm a F1 fan, certain countries to me lack excitement and these events take place to similar countries you speak about.
