I like Broken Man more than stuff from Daddy's Home. I'm looking forward to the album.
Same here. I always like her work but Daddy's was the least satisfying for a while.

I think I may have just stumbled on the worst name for a band I've ever seen: Leftover Salmon. Out of morbid curiosity I might investigate just to see what type of music lurks behind.
It's almost as bad as Steve's title for his memoir.
Edit: very tough band to Google haha. They seem to be a bluegrass Americana band of some sort. Into their 4th decade apparently
Lovely write up of a concert Brett Anderson of Suede did with an orchestra of disabled musicians, called Paraorchestra. They covered songs about death by Echo and the Bunnymen, David Bowie, Depeche Mode and others. I just received the release in the post but haven't had a chance to listen, and based on this review I'm really, really looking forward to it.

I'd heard about this and would like to have attended. Paraorchestra and Charles Hazelwood have done some excellent, interesting work.

Great album!
Great album!
Yes, I like this one a lot. For me comfortably their best "classic 7" album.
Crazy story about a singer from the Four Tops going to hospital with chest pain and shortness of breath, on top of a history of serious cardiac problems, and instead of getting the proper treatment, he was put in a straitjacket because they thought he was crazy for saying he was in the Four Tops. Absolutely vile carry on. Wtaf is wrong with some people's brains, like why don't they function normally at all?
Christ. It says he offered to show his ID but was told "sit your black ass down". If it all happened as per the allegation it's appalling. Also, was it beyond everyone there to whip out a phone and do a search?!
