This seems to be the finished song of what once used to be "O But" or "Daddy Long Legs"
The lyrics are really beautiful ...
Sounds a ballad like...Randy Newman (unfortunately).
Here is the full moon video

Randy Newman is one of the great songwriters, and Peter has covered a couple of his songs, so nothing wrong with that. I see what you mean, but i see it as a good thing.
This one may become important to me as I am dealing with my mother's dementia.
I notice he says he did some work at British Grove. Can we hope for a collaboration with Mark Knopfler?!

That's a beautiful track with incredible lyrics. One of his best, isn't it ? And what a voice...
I hope the Bright Mix is like the outru of the Song.
Poignant and emotional with an uplifting ending. I really like it.
I agree with the general sentiments above, it's a moving and emotional song with a very touching lyric seemingly about growing older and the possibility of dementia.
It's a track for which I'm not sure I see the value of different mixes, and I certainly can't imagine it being like the penultimate segment all the way through as suggested. But if there be different mixes let's see what they're like.
I do kind of see a Newmanesque quality in it but as FeelItComing said that can only be a good thing.

I should imagine you'd melt with excitement.
At the time of Scratch My Back, as a huge Radiohead fan I was near-delirious with anticipation when they were on board to cover Wallflower, a song Thom Yorke said was an important one for him as a teenager. Sadly, they of course withdrew.
His voice is amazing, not alone for his age. He hits high notes with great strength.

wow, that's my favorite so far! Such an emotional track and what a finale!

It would be nice.
This song is beautiful, right up there with In Your Eyes & Don't Give Up. I think it's that good.
It's a "grower". First listen was ... well, ok, what's that? But then it slightly appears, the magic, the emotion. Just wonderful!
Quite different tracks, those three first releases, by the way!
I like this one better than the other two, quite reminiscent of Randy Newman, some moments are Peter in top form. He sounds great, although at first listen, the voice production seems to have a demo quality to it, less polished than usual, it sounds obviously deliberate, but I need more listens to be able to put my finger on it.
This is my favourite of the songs so far. I get the comparison with Randy Newman - there's a wistful, Tin Pan Alley atmosphere to it. I think it is partly the ascending and descending chord progressions on simple piano plus the string arrangements.
The other interesting thing to note are the sections where he sings in a much lighter, gentler style that seems almost reminiscent of his singing in the 70s, e.g., "Never fade away" at 0:57, "Play again, play again" at 1:12.
My favourite so far
