Your favorite GENESIS studio albums (pick three)

It occurred to me that my top three: Trick, SEBTP and the Lamb never changed in time, I have more trouble with a top ten, not that it changes radically but Duke for instance has been growing on me immensely throughout the years.

Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot & Selling England By The Pound, in no particular order .

Picking a top three is really tough but, for me, the clear top tier is:

Duke

Wind & Wuthering

The Lamb

Some of the new members may not have seen this poll. Still interesting for me that certain albums are ranked quite high. What do you think?

my crazy new phone was about to spell correct that last title to Broadstairs which would have been quite funny.

So, Trick and Selling are on top at the moment. I wonder why The Lamb is not ranked higher?

Eventually voted for Selling England, Trick and Foxtrot but it obviously can change by the day. Selling is always my first choice, I like the feel of it as well as the depth and quality of the music, lyrics and imagery. Trick is up there because it has the same qualities but is a little more accessible and dramatic perhaps, almost went for Wind and Wuthering which has higher highs but lower lows. Foxtrot has to be there for Supper's Ready, otherwise it would have been a toss up between Wind, Nursery Cryme, the Lamb and Trespass for me.

^ That is interesting. The two top 6s share 4 of the same albums - Foxtrot, Selling, Lamb, Trick. WCD and IT making up the other two in the German poll is intriguing.

This board's results back up my feeling that Trick/W&W is the era most here like (conversely, it's my least favourite phase of their work) but it's funny seeing W&W plummet out of the top rankings on the German poll.

Pretty much my top three, although not in that order.

Looks like the Germans like We Can't Dance

Lamb, Duke and Dance for me. Foxtrot would follow next.

As I said, I like both Lamb and Dance. Lamb astonishes me again and again and Dance is such a great collection of songs and has a wonderful atmosphere.

Duke excites me as well, especially due to Duke's Travels / End.
