New CHESTER THOMPSON Interview

Oof. For a band with such a genteel reputation, they did somehow manage to leave a trail of bitter ex-colleagues behind (not that CT comes across as especially bitter here but still...).

"Genteel Reputation" is a very kind but accurate way of describing it. Obviously we all wish that all of our heroes got on well but unfortunately that's not always the case. Chester's issues with Mike and Tony in 1997 and his issues with Phil in 2010 all seem both unfortunate and unnecessary. I think we all hope that they'd all settle their differences but old men are all pretty entrenched in their points of view and I'm not sure that's ever going to happen.

Apparently, Phil and Chester did talk to each other in-between 2010/12 and 2014 period however, it's clear what ever was said, they likely agreed they wouldn't work together again.

Publicly, they have good things to say about each other, which is good and what is done is done.
