Dave Kerzner announces "The Lamb" tribute album

  • Not sure. Who needs this? An official box set is afoot, then D'Virgilio did a Lamb tribute years ago already (Rewiring Genesis).

Plus: sound snippets don't really trigger something ...

  • Apart from Sound of Contact, I never really found a connection to Kerzner's music and I doubt it will be different here. Also, it's a bit odd to have this kind of tribute when there's an official box set coming anyway (but, to be fair, that was probably not clear when Kerzen finished this project).

    indeed!

Nevertheless I will give this album a chance. I also liked the Rewiring Genesis project (Nick D'Virgilio). When was that? Must have been 20 years ago or something like that?

... any moment that we bring to life - ridiculous sublime

  • I never tire of "interpretations" of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. I really enjoyed Rewiring Genesis and I'm sure I'll enjoy this one too. I've enjoyed BOTH Sound of Contact and Dave Kerzner's solo stuff, and I think his prog instincts are really good.
