    Hmm... makes me wonder who really wrote the lyrics to the other songs... and what Phil might have contributed.

    I really don't think Phil wrote any lyrics on that album. He was a key arranger, though; along with Mike and Tony, he formed the musical nucleus of the band.

    And, my word - first mention I've seen of the tour's name: the "Last Domino?" tour.

    Well it will be very interesting to see what setlists, arrangements, keys will be like this time around. Nothing suggested for North America yet, so I may have to enjoy it from afar.

    Reports that came in before the announcement about the tour suggest North American tour dates will be coming later. If 2007 is anything to go by, we should get them by July 2020.

    Just istening to the interview with Zoe Ball. Her enthusiasm for this reunion is absolutely infectious. Turns out she was at one of the shows they played at Wembley Stadium in '87.

    Available on the BBC iplayer for those who can access it, the documentary Rock & Roll Island, about Eel Pie Island on the Thames, a popular music venue in the 60s and 70s. Steve Hackett is among the interviewees and it features a snippet of Stagnation. Lord knows when that was last ever heard on TV.

    Hopefully it's some full length concerts rather than just snippets of shows with intercut footage.

    Interesting... indeed, as long as it's not what we've already seen. If it's complete gigs it'll be great but I'm not going to get too worked up just yet.


    As a major Radiohead fan I've been salivating at the pro-shot whole gigs they've made available on their website archive. If another of my top bands are doing the same I'll be very happy.

    Well, they released five concert films over the years: Three Sides Live, The Mama Tour, Invisible Touch at Wembley Stadium, The Way We Walk and When In Rome. It'll probably be these that are being shown.

    Yes applying logic to the news I broke to the wider community, its likely to be material they already have released.


    Rather than them producing/editing/balancing the sound on stuff they have not released.


    I for one would love to see The Mama tour documentary that the band commissioned, look carefully at the end credits of the Mama video you can see them on there and being credited.

    This'll put the C among the Ps. Ultimate Classic Rock does "the best and worst tracks from each Genesis album". A couple I agree with but my word there are some baffling entries here (plus some slack proofing and the usual factual errors). See what you think.

    A silly and pointless article. Would've been better to do a best and worst Genesis songs in general. You're right about factual inaccuracies because factually speaking LWL, RAAB, and AIAMN are amongst the best Genesis songs!
