I read that one day last month in CA it hit 120F. But of course the state has significant problems with heat at the moment.

The problem with Canada( S.Ontario)we have extreme temperatures going from hot to cold like a light switch.
At the moment it's cold and wet.

Well the citizens of Valley of Shadowless Deathville would love it here in SW London right now. Approaching 3 days of near-continuous cold rain and wind. I'm sure many other UK regions are experiencing the same. I know back home in Inverness they are.
