I have thought about it, but my idea was to create a "Who Is Who" of Genesis. Not just the big give names, but also containing, very modestly :-), everyone who ever had to do with Genesis, outlining what they had to do with Genesis" Plus sources (Chapter & Verse, Living Years, web lore).
With the potential of pointing out and clearing up discrepancies...

I'd love to because I love writing and I love Genesis but the reality is I don't even have the time to update my own blog!

Look, what I was trying to say is... rather than putting all your efforts (energy mostly) into another page. Why not take a look at the website I co run and co own, then have a look around and if you want to help then we can discuss how.

I think a lot of the type of information a fan Wiki for the band would contain can easily be found elsewhere, like on the standard Wikipedia.
Fan wikis work really well for things like television shows or novels, where you're creating an encyclopedia for a fictional world, because those things wouldn't ordinarily be found anywhere else.
The richer aspects of fandom that you cite, like lyric videos, multimedia etc. don't really work in a wiki format, but are better accessed via a specialist website (like The Genesis Archive, for instance!)
I'm not against the idea (though I may sound like it), I'm just wondering if it's worth the time and effort when if someone is looking for lyrics, they'll probably just Google "Genesis lyrics", or they'll more likely go to actual Wikipedia for details about albums.

Actually I agree this is the best option. The site is already in existence and the best way to honour that is by offering contributions.
