What movie have you watched?

  • Just saw that one last night! How did you like it? I was fine with it for good entertainment, not familiar though with that whole universe.

Personally, I loved it. Thought the comedy was very well done, and a necessity from what was otherwise a relentlessly bleak film (for a superhero movie). I know there have been complaints about not giving some characters enough screen time for development, but most have had their own movies for character development, and there's still the second part to this story to come. I don't see how they could have done much better really.

Not a bad movie... At the beginning, was not sure what was going on at first, but it soon resolved itself... This movie starts off with very short stories about people commiting crimes and fraud.. Instead of getting shot or going to jail, all these culprits leave the their counties and move to South America, where they work on an oil field. The story is about a massive explosion on the oil field and the only way to stop this, is to use explosives to stop the leak. However, the only explosives around have been sitting for years and very fragile (nitro gyclerine). Care is needed to transport these explosives over some 216 miles on some of the worst terrain...

    Music score by Tangerine Dream..

Good suspenseful film and I really like the soundtrack. The album is well worth picking up if you're a Tangerine Dream fan.

Have to confess, what seemed like a good movie ended up being rubbish.. Cross between a lame duck action and silliness here... Lots of CGA which IMHO ruins this movie... Worst movie for Samuel L Jackson who plays a scared president of the USA, rescued by a boy to impress his father who has been rated as a good hunter and wants to follow in his footsteps and prove he is a man...

  • Very sad movie about an amateur sailer who competed in around the world competition to save his business.

Based on a true story. He made major headlines and the story involves his journey and how he falsified his events to keep the headlines happy... Both love story and adventure... Watched this last Sunday and very good too!.......

  • Going to listen to one more album and watch this movie later . Such a great classic movie!.... 8)

One of the All-Time greats, and also the subject of the most pointless sequel/remakes ever! Whoever decided to cast Noel Coward, Michael Caine and Benny Hill in the same movie was a genius.

Benny Hill was hilarious, chasing after fat chicks!......:D

Though I liked the sequel to the Italian job, it lost it's British charm and lacked the wit!....

  • I quite like this movie...Stars Michael Sarrazin in the title role, along with Margot Kidder, Jennifer O'Neill...

Professor Peter Proud (Michael Sarrazin) keeps having a nightmare in which he watches a mysterious woman in a rowboat commit murder. He tries his college's dream lab for help, but the real breakthrough comes when he recognizes locations from his dream in a documentary about Massachusetts. He travels there and meets Marcia (Margot Kidder), the woman from his dream, and her daughter, Ann (Jennifer O'Neill), with whom he falls in love. Could he be the reincarnation of Marcia's dead husband? This is not a horror movie but a thriller

  • Crime/Thriller.....

Young police officer Shane Cooper relocates to the small country town of Red Hill with his pregnant wife Alice to start a family. But when news of a prison break sends the local law enforcement officers - led by the town's ruling presence, Old Bill - into a panic, Shane's first day on duty rapidly turns into a nightmare. Enter Jimmy Conway, a convicted murderer serving life behind bars, who returns to the isolated outpost seeking revenge. Now caught in the middle of what will become a terrifying and bloody confrontation, Shane will be forced to take the law into his own hands if he is to survive. A taut thriller which unfolds over the course of a single day and night, and told with explosive action and chilling violence, "Red Hill" is a modern-day western played out against the amazing landscapes of high-country Australia.
