The first time I saw Phil was on my fifteenth birthday.

What PC shows have you been to?
I saw him twice, once on the No Jacket Required tour and once for the But Seriously tour.
At the second show I was pretty much over Phil already. I went because my brother did. I didn’t really get into his later albums until recently when I “took a look at him” again.

My brother and I had first row tickets for the Growing Up tour. We were a few rows back for Secret World but still good seats. Those are the only two shows I’ve seen.

I only saw Genesis once, in January, 1987. By the time of We Can’t Dance I had lost interest in newer Genesis and didn’t become interested until after the 2007 reunion.

The Lamb has more in common musically with A Trick of the Tail than Selling England by the Pound. And Abacab has the last classic prog track with Dodo/Lurker.

True. And I'm listening to Full Circle now. I had read some negative opinions of these albums but they sound very much like The Doors to me.

For me, there are two distinct eras for Genesis: 1970 - 1977 and 1980 - 1992.
I like to divide this way:
1. From Genesis to Revelation through Selling England By the Pound
2. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway through Three Sides Live
3. Genesis through Live Over Europe 2007

Wind and Wuthering, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, Duke.

The Doors, Other Voices.

Mine was July 29, 1993.

This is my Facebook page if you would like to "like" it. It is just a new picture of Phil Collins every day, and occasional news or interesting links.
Sometimes I post photos of other Genesis members if Phil is in the photo.

Hi, everyone!
Sad to see the old forum go, but there wasn’t much activity. The new forum has a better mobile interface.
