He also contributed vocals to But Seriously, i.e. on That's just the way it is and Another day in paradise.

I'm reposting this from one of the other boards as I think this is a more appropriate place for these comments.
My initial reaction to the whole thing is a little disappointed .Brief snippets, bits and pieces. The few Peel session songs are interesting but I was really hoping for the complete Knebworth '78 show as well as the complete lyceum show. I didn't know that the BBC broadcast any of the'98 shows and more of that would've been good. There's loads 87 stuff which I have and I doubt the 92 Knebworth stuff would much different from TWWW CDs. The completest in me says "get it"but I can get a fair bit of that stuff elsewhere.
A shame they didn't include the Cage medley from 1987.
The 87 BBC ecording is from 4th July only, the Wembley DVD is a combination of all four Wembley shows (if I remember correctly).
All in all I have a very familiar feeling. It could have done better and it could be more complete.
will buy it nevertheless

For me, it's a standout track of their later period and a highlight on We Can't Dance. I always prefer to play this really loud. A wonderful track.
I agree ... sort of
13pts from me!

Looking forward to the list of his later session work, especially in the eighties!

What's also notable is that the inner photo is printed the wrong way round. Seems a repeated error with the band albums: see also the live photo on the rear of the Italian SEBTP. (Error repeated by Rhino on one of their more recent US vinyl reissues.)
Another thing I didn't knows. I like those detals. Thanks!

Thanks! The article reveals a lot of details I never knew. I am happy they do release this set, but it's sad there's so much missing.

It is a masterpiece! Would be in my Top 20 Genesis and solo projects list.

I am actually really happy about the new single:
same here! But still hoping for some great melodies. "Beyond belief" is a good start for that!

14/15
One of his finest. Discussion about the lyrics and his own situation is not really my cup of tea. It's a great song!

Always thought this is one of Tony's finest solo tracks. Could have been a great Genesis tune I'm sure.
My rating: 14

For me its W&W, Duke and We Can´t Dance.
I also like Trick, Lamb and Selling, but these albums are not in my personal Top 3.

Good for all fans in Italia!!!
I saw them a couple of times and their work is really stunning! Especially The Lamb is a great service for fans, because this show was never filmed properly (sadly) ...

Just when you thought you've seen everything, you "discover" this:
-
Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Marillion, Editors and the Simple Minds

That was a fantastic tour! I hope they'll put out an upgraded HD version of the concert film in Berlin at some point...

Hi everyone
I am new here and am looking around a bit.
The last Genesis show in London was particularly special and emotional. My first show was actually Montreux 1987, back then I was there with my uncle who invited me. That's how I became a fan. So my best moments were not necessarily the best shows.
The US show in Milan by Peter Gabriel was terrific - and not only because it was filmed there. Years later, I saw another show in Italy - in Taormina.
So there are many memories, but it's hard for me to identify the best show from them.
