I had an older cousin and brother who were both into rock and had a lot of albums between them. I had access to all of them so never bought one of my own til I was 15 or 16.

After seeing the W&W tour I had to get Seconds Out as soon as it was available, and proud to say that was the first record I ever bought.

Totally from a selfish standpoint I would've loved if they swapped out the In The Cage Medley for a similar classic one or Suppers Ready on shows here where they did multiple nights at the same venue, eg Philly, Chicago, LA.

Philly would've been perfect and not just because those are the ones I went to but they did three nights there and we had a lot of returning fans there each night.

I know they've never really done anything like that mid tour and once their set list was set, they kept to it and it's not really a realistic thing to wish for but it would've been great to see them swap out one classic medley for another a few times.

So what's your opinion then? :)

It sounds great to me.

It's been years since I listened to it on vinyl and I'm sure that plays into it but I'm thrilled with it and glad they remastered it the way they did and put it out on vinyl.

I can't complain about the price either, snagged two copies (one for a gift) and paid $57 and change US including tax. :)

Came home today to find my copy from Amazon has arrived! Happy to say even with the limited product description it is the 2019 remastered heavy vinyl. 👍🏻

I'm glad my hunch of going only by the release date was a good one and getting this for under $30.00 US was a steal.

Gonna give it a spin later tonight and was wondering what everyone else thinks of it? Any opinions?

Amazon USA has this for sale at $27.63 with a release date of June 7th, so I'm assuming this is the remastered LP but it doesn't say anything about that. Does anyone have any info on it being available on Amazon in other countries, and how it's listed for sale on their site? Does it say 1/2 speed remaster?

    Thanks in advance.

    Chernobyl mini series on HBO.

Scary stuff and riveting as hell. Fantastic performances by the lead actors. ( Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgard, and Emily Watson) While they've taken some literary license and combined several different people into one character ( Watson's) the show is very well done and a must see.

I saw every tour starting with Wind and Wuthering thru the Turn It On Again Tour in 07 except 6 Of the Best and Calling All Stations.

Very fortunate to have seen multiple shows on all those tours, with W&W and ATTWT being the tours I only saw one show. All told I think the number is up in the low to mid 30's and absolutely loved every single one!

Eric passed away Saturday evening at 9:20 PST. We were at his side along with his wife, kids and grandkids. At least he's not suffering any longer. We will miss him terribly.

I'm so sorry to hear this and will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope you find some comfort and strength from all the support from the wonderful people here. I can't imagine the heartache you're going through but from the outside looking in, there are a lot of thoughtful and kind people here. It warms my heart to see how no matter our differences, there's a lot of love here when it matters most.

Eric will be in a medically induced coma for 3 or more days to reduce brain swelling. We don't expect to have any news during that time. Elisa (his wife) just called. She has a terrible migraine. Eric was moved last night and is in Loma Linda Hospital nearer to us now. He apparently has thick mucus draining from his lungs, so he may have pneumonia. There is a chance he will pass on his own which may be a blessing. He is DNR so nothing will be done to save him at that point. We're praying his swelling goes down so they can determine if he has brain damage. This is just so very stressful to all who love him. <3

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I haven't been on the forum for a bit but came on to see about your brother and was happy to hear he was on the road to a good recovery. Then saw this heart breaking news and my goodness, you and your family have been through so much and like others here, I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't think of any worse of a nightmare for a parent than seeing your child fighting for their life no matter their age. Keep strong COT and I hope the well wishes, good thoughts and prayers bring some comfort to you and your family.

I know they helped me when so many on the old forum were sending us theirs when my daughter was fighting for her life. They worked for us and I'm Praying they do for you and yours as well.

    🙏🏻

Friends. The characters spend all their time either in the same huge apartment which seems far too expensive for people on their salaries, or in the coffee bar. Frasier. Would a DJ no matter how well paid have an apartment with the most spectacular view in Seattle?

Well technically Frazier before moving to Seattle was a Doctor who had a successful practice in Boston (Cheers) which is not a cheap place to live. I didn't find his apartment or lifestyle to be that hard to believe to be honest. Now if it was Martin's place and Frazier just lived there, that would be hard to believe on a retired policeman's salary. :/

I also seem to remember something about the ladies apartment on Friends as being a rent controlled apartment. Otherwise I'd agree 100% that place with a terrace would be way out of their league considering their jobs.

Too many to list off the top of my head but a couple of recent ones I think/thought were excellent here in the US:

    The Closer > Major Crimes

    Breaking Bad

Better Call Saul (season 3 premier in early August)

Orphan Black - One of the best performances by a lead actress (Tatiana Maslany) in any show I've ever seen. She played all her characters so amazingly well, she could've won awards for best supporting actress as well if she was nominated for one of those other characters and not just the main one. Which she should've been IMO.

Well.... a stunning 2 goals plus 2 goals thanks to terrible refereeing decisions!

Congrats France but well done Croatia on reaching their first final. I was rooting for them and felt they got a bit mugged in the first half by those rotten decisions, but you can't argue with the two proper goals France scored in the second half.

I'm no expert on Soccer but I thought the PK was deserved and the correct call.

The free kick however was a bad decision and sure looked like a dive to me. Even though there was some contact with his leg, the French player was going down before that contact and the contact had nothing to do with causing him to go to the ground. Looked to me like he stumbled on his own and the contact came after. Bad call by the ref IMO.

I believe is does count in terms of rankings.

Shame they don't get all a Gold, Silver and Bronze trophy at the end of the World Cup final awards.

Yeah that was another thing I was wondering about as well as fans interest in the game. If the players don't get anything to acknowledge their finish, that's kind of lame imo.

I can see this game mattering to fans if there was some type of long standing rivalry between the nations but aside from that is there much interest or importance in this game for the fans?

Curious if England or Belgium fans are into the 3rd place match? Is it a big deal to the fans ? Does it have any significance as far as future rankings or seedings go?

I know here in the US the NCAA Final Four ( College Basketball) used to play a 3rd place game for years but stopped playing it in I believe 1981 and I don't know anyone who misses it.
