I have it. Read it. Worth a shout. Lengthy feature on new Genesis book. Some photos that looked new to me.

thefarmer will be totally ecstatic that Genesis will encore with Digby on the next tour!! Collins (Nic) could add a 9/8 rhythm!
-
But they would need to drop in Digby too mid set because thefarmer hasn't heard it. None of us have heard it.
-
Wouldn't it be brilliant if they could recreate the 4 sets from Mrs. Balmes dance in 1970 or whatever.
Me personally would be deeply moved by a starting Squonk one more time. No backing tapes. No introduction. On come Genesis, they wander to their instruments smiling and grinning. Then...
SQUONK!

I am an IT idiot. I don't even have a computer or laptop.
I only recently joined the Genesis Movement site and took things very very slowly.
This is using my phone.
And... Hooray.
I have downloaded about 15 concerts. My favourite thing being the Mike and the Mechanics 4cd compilation.
If the Lawnmower wants any help then let me know.

Forgive me if you have done this one before but I tried searching with no luck.
My confusion surrounds exactly what original Genesis cassettes UK issue on Charisma looked like.
I know everything from Genesis live onwards were standard pink Charisma. That's around late 1973 onwards but what colour were these:
Trespass. I think the cassette wasn't issued in late 1970 but actually came out at the same time as Happy the Man. Copies appear to be green plastic with pink or white labels. Seem to be around April 1972. Am I correct?
Nursery Cryme: They seem to be issued around April 1972 once again to cash in on Happy the Man. Nursery Cryme cassettes were released 6 months after vinyl release. Early copies appear to be green with white labels.
Foxtrot: This one seems to change everything and turn cassettes black plastic with pink labels. But spookily I have seen green plastic ones too.
Can anybody shed light on this? I would love to buy an early copy Nursery Cryme but what colour should it be?

The 1987 tour version of Mama was fantastic because it was the opening track and the intro went on forever. There might be a better live version with more atmospherics and theater somewhere else.
Was Wembley the end of the tour?

Every tour would be welcome.
I always hoped they would do it.
A lovely 2cd from whatever tour just like the Marillion Front Row Club.
-
The download on the Genesis Movement comes from a business or downloader called BURP.
-
Yes I genuinely like him too.
What you see us what you get.
I have loved nearly everything he has done.
Some of the No-Man stuff has moved me to tears. Just bought a cheap ticket at the back at the O2.
-
I have just downloaded Drury Lane 5.5.80 from BURP. I own 2cds from years ago but this Torrent from Genesis movement is perfect. Clear crystal recording.
-
Thank you for the above torrent link.
Really appreciate the help.
-
That named track will be brilliant.
I have never heard this live before.
-
Thank you.
I will have a look.
-
Many too Many would be brilliant with Nic drumming. They have never done this live
-
Hello?
Someone has Drury Lane 5 5 80 in brilliant condition?
My 2cd sounds awful.
Can I have a copy?
Please.

Ah Lyle Mays. His beautiful style of playing has been with me for many years.
Can I recommend...
September Fifteenth live version from the dvd. On youtube.
-
One CD of this on Spotify.
Sounds good to me.

Steve at the Edinburgh Playhouse in 1983.
I sneaked into the soundcheck.

Very strange this album has totally grown on me over the years. When it first came out it was Me and Sarah Jane and Like it or not. But now it's Keep it Dark because of the drum rhythm on the live version and Dodo Lurker from the Savoy NY Bootleg sung with power. What an audience Bootleg that is.
Also love Abacab obviously especially the live version and No reply at all too.
This was the hardest vote for any genesis album.
