Spooky how both pm and president look like each other and have the same mannerisms.
Possibly could be the end of the world.

I have always enjoyed Tracker. It always brings a smile to my face. 'Wherever I go' is like clutching sadness. Similarly Privateering has 'Seattle' which is chilling and stark. Mark Knopflers lyrics are profound on that one.
My latest purchase is
Transatlantic Sessions Volume 2 from yonks ago. I bought it for Excuse me mister by John Martyn but love many of the songs on it particularly Paul Brady.
I listen to the Piper club too.
Fantastic set list.
I believe only the 2cd version will come out.
But watch out for a 3cd version.
They did do one for Road of Bones with outtakes and live tracks.
Happy the man is a total favourite of mine.
Late at night I regularly listen to the Italy tour from early 1972 when they started with it and then Stagnation.
Massive IQ fan
The Frequency CD back in 2008 is one of my favourite Cds in history.
Total class...
I dislike...
The battle of Epping Forest too.
Also...
The colony of slippermen
Back in NYC
In the prog mag there is 2 pages with Mike Rutherford also.
Well worth getting.
Nice Tony Banks interview and he gives a solid quote about Hackett...
'I missed Steve on And Then There Were Three as Mike was just finding his way as a guitarist and Steve might have made more of those songs'.
A well written review with Nad Sylvan given a lot of praise. I have enjoyed Sylvan's performances immensely because I think he is charismatic and looks so dramatic. It is a very hard job to interpret songs from 3 careers.
I have my ticket for the Hammersmith Apollo.
Agree to that. Hackett would be brilliant doing a career retrospective from Acolyte onwards playing key songs that mean the world to us. Hackett fans could vote on the songs. I'm so happy to hear Virgin and the gypsy on current tour. There are dozens of Hackett Classics dotted through the years.
Virgin and the Gypsy is a terrible title but it's so beautiful and magical.
But putting Genesis on the cover puts more in the stalls.
Marillion Seasons End.
Dream Theater Xmas CD 2007
John Martyn Dublin 1997 bootleg complete with crazy jokes.
Dweezil Zappa Zappa plays Zappa.
Sara Loera.
I am enjoying new Prog mag CD and Sara Loera is on that too.
Really enjoying the song...
The wars will save us.
Yep I was an Aberdeen lad but Hackett only played Edinburgh on the Highly Strung tour. I really clearly remember his song about flying in Brazil. Weightless. Still love the song.

Not all the shows are here but the Tommy Vance Genesis ones are.
I lived in Aberdeen when growing up.
Too young for the 1980 Genesis and Gabriel concerts. So first gig was...
Dire Straits December 1980. Making Movies tour at the Capital Theatre.
Someone gave me a copy of Genesis Friday Rock Show Lyceum on SA C90 which was crackly and incomplete but that tape changed everything.
Next gigs...
Marillion convention Leicester from this Friday.
Hackett Edinburgh Playhouse 1983.
