Lately it's been Seventh Heaven, but it changes all the time. Geese, 1984, Slow Dance and PPP 2 have all been my favourite at one time or another. I'm also hugely fond of PPP 11 (City Of Dreams), but I may be in the minority there.

I've been listening to this one a lot lately. Simply a gorgeous album from Ant, so many excellent pieces of music. Seems to fit right in around Christmas time too. I recently upgraded to the Esoteric 3-CD reissue and the bonus tracks are all terrific as well!
I've always liked it, but lately I think it has moved up a LOT in my favourite Ant albums list.

I don't think anyone else ever wrote music for one of Tony's albums, so when you see a co-writing credit like Fish, Jack Hues, Nik Kershaw, etc. it's safe to assume that their input was lyrically.

I gave this disc a spin, and it's very good! Not too many surprises in the song selection, but it's just nice to see someone pay tribute to Ant's music like this. Great job guys!

Weather Report - Live In Berlin 1975

First record I ever owned was the Star Wars soundtrack, which I got for Christmas as a kid. First music I ever bought with my own money was Kiss - "Heaven's On Fire" 45 single.
In 1989 I got my first CD player and I immediately went out and bought Rush - Moving Pictures and Presto.

I just placed my annual birthday CD order, and since this year I am getting it from Burning Shed, I added this disc. Looking forward to it!

For what it's worth, I would have chosen Sign Your Life Away as my third choice if it was possible. I know it's insanely commercial, but I love that track. That's a GREAT chorus!

Voted easily for Uncertain Weather and Alien Afternoon, and then had to pick There Must Be Some Other Way, since none of the b-side tracks were choices.

Now listening to Coexistence, the fourth and latest installment in the 2019 Patrick Moraz remaster/reissue series from Esoteric. Sounds great! Haven't heard this album in many years!

It's hard to believe they could sound any better than they did on their last live album 'Second Home -Live At Prog Dreams V,' One of my favorite bands. Canadian too
Be sure to check this one out then! It sounds excellent!

Progatron you called it wistful. Maybe that's a big part of the problem as I don't get on well with 'wistful'.
Interesting... how are you with songs like Burning Rope, Heathaze, or Evidence Of Autumn? Three Banks pieces rooted firmly in the 'wistful' zone. Spoiler alert: I love all three. :p

It's MMM, RA&B and 2nd half of Volcano I can't stand. These are all among the worst stuff I think they ever did. I genuinely don't get the idea Volcano part 2 is pure Genesis.
Are you sure you're not being a tad hyperbolic there? Among the worst stuff they ever did? Again, to each their own, but... wow. Mad Man Moon is a typically wistful, romantic Banks piece full of his trademark chord changes. Robbery has that delicious 13/8 instrumental section with out-of-this-world drumming (much like the Volcano instrumental section, which again is unmistakably Genesis to my ears).

It's my favourite of theirs. To me, it's a magical album of storytelling-type songs, with very strong musical sections all throughout, and their playing is fantastic. I understand differences of opinion, although I must say I can't imagine calling the second half of Volcano 'terrible'. To me, that's pure Genesis. And Entangled is probably a top 3 song for me. Such a lush, rich sound to the first half with the harmony parts and the moody second half with the mellotron and 12-strings. Again, pure Genesis to my ears.
Honestly, I love every second of this album.

I know that Brian Coombes is trying to find local distributors, thats why the album is now offered at JustForKicks (Germany) and Burningshed (UK).
Did I understand that correctly? shipping from the US to Canada is 15 $?
Yes, I had it in my cart, but canceled when I saw $14.95 shipping. I've never seen it that high anywhere, and I buy CDs online like it's an addiction.

Yes, that's why I go digital nowadays. No fees. I have over 2,000 CDs in cases in the living room and simply have nowhere else to store any more.
That's just not for me. I'm a collector, I love my CDs, I like to hold the artwork in my hand and read the booklets, etc. I'm going to have to skip this one, sadly. I just bought the new Steve Unruh CD from his website and his shipping is $8 from the U.S. to Canada for one CD. That's a lot more reasonable.
